----- A male and female strider. Plains striders roam the savannah's and plains in large herds of 20 to 30 animals. A good 8% of those are males. They get their name through the way they walk, which resembles a nice clean stride. While running they make much longer strides and/or hop. Females lay 1 or 2 eggs in shallow dug out nests. The males take no part in raising the young or hatching the eggs but instead offer protection from outside predators. Throughout life, males will practice sparring with their horns as well as their feet. One swift kick from the foot can do enough damage to severely injure any animal. The horns are rarely used to impale a predator, but when done so the Strider does this with brute force. Side note: Striders are also used as a riding beast for smaller humanoids and nyiad. Normally only females are used for general riding while males are using for mounted officers and war beasts for their ugly temperment. ---- Prisma Marker and Pencil |

Hmmm... they remind me of struthiomimids.
Those are impressive canines on that male... are they carnivores, or obnivores? Or are they just for defence or show?
Blah, I ask too many questions, I'll let ya' be now

So I throw the windows wide
And call to you across the sky....
