Alright, I need some help, and I am SURE most people will go "Boy, this should be common sense and is a pretty stupid question." Anyway, I need some reference on how to draw/paint/color DIRT, Rocks, and such. I also need any helpful tutorials on grasses, trees, and bark textures. I don't want to use brushes, I prefer to take the hard route.

Maybe I'm just tired and crazy, we all know I'm nutso.

I'm twiddling around with a forest aux, a type of wild animal on Tala'Nynn which isn't too much larger than a great dane.
