Little Book of Dragons: Eagle-Owl Drake
Dragon Owner: Samuel
Eagle-Owl Drakes are large enough to tackle a large dog, with their 20-25 foot wingspan and deep chest, they have some incredible muscle. Taking out medium to small dragons is no problem, especially with their silent wing beats thanks to soft feathers. Mostly nocturnal, these "gryphon drakes" are exceptional hunters, watching and listening for prey in the highest trees, and may hunt other dragons from dusk till dawn. Between their sharp beaks and needle talons, a kill is swift and as silent as their attack. They never knew what hit them.
To be traditionally colored.
